Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR)
Consult the treatment with your doctor, do your own research and look for an authorized practitioner in a territory or province that supports medical cannabis. Get a medical document from the licensed provider of your close and have your doctor fill it out. In order to obtain this medical prescription, you need to provide the following details: your full name, date of birth and the address where you consulted with the doctor. Your healthcare practitioner should decide on the daily dose of dried cannabis you are allowed to consume. Your doctor will also sign the document with his name, license number, business address, profession, province of license, and any additional administrative information. Don’t forget to get the attestation from your doctor in order to make sure that the medical document is complete and correct.
Once your doctor gives you the medical document, you are allowed to register for medical marijuana with any licensed producer you want. In order to register as a client, you will need to provide your original medical document and some additional information they may need. Once you’ve registered as a client, you can order your medical marijuana from the retailer of your choice and it will be sent directly to you.
If you are authorized to possess cannabis for medical purposes, you can have up to 30 times your daily amount prescribed by your doctor, but not more than 150 grams. Don’t forget that you may be asked to show the proof of legal possession of medical cannabis. You can show a legal document with all information about your product or a label with specific details about the product.

- registering individuals to produce a limited amount of cannabis for their own medical purposes (or to have another individual produce it for them)
