Welcome to another Music Monday! If you don't already know, I'm telling you that Friday was a big day for music! Two amazing albums dropped and I've been listening to them non-stop. The first album is the self titled album from Asking Alexandria. It is truly indescribably awesome and I urge you to check it out! My favourites from the album are Alone In A Room, Hopelessly Hopeful, Rise Up, I Am One and Empire. The Second album that came out what Eminem's Revival. This album I wasn't sure about at first but after a couple of plays and it really grows on you. Some of the song are really deep and you can tell this is something his been working on a while. My favourite song is definitely Need Me with Pink. Give these two albums a listen and I'm sure you'll feel more empowered and ready to conquer this week! One week until Christmas! I hope whatever you've doing or celebrating this holiday it's filled with joy and happiness. I wish you all a pain free week!
Saw yet another Endometriosis specialist. This, I think, is number 4 or 5? Her suggestions, since I'm already on a double dose of Visanne, was Lupron (which was a hell no) or a drug that they've just started to try on Endometriosis but is really meant for fibroids. This drug is called Fibrisal and I'm supposed to try it for 3 months to see if I see any improvement in pain. Funny thing is that under my Health Insurance it's only covered (in full) for three months of your whole life time. Fibristal shown to significantly control heavy uterine bleeding, shrink fibroid volume and reduce pelvic pain for patients suffering from uterine fibroids. Fibristal is a once-daily oral medication that is the first and only non-surgical treatment specifically indicated to treat the signs and symptoms of uterine fibroids. In long term clinical studies Fibristal was shown to safely and effectively control excessive uterine bleeding, shrink fibroid volume and reduce the significant pain and symptom associated with symptomatic uterine fibroids. She would also like me to go back to Ottawa to have a specially skilled ultrasound tech do a scan to see if they can see any Endometriosis that has grown back. I was given Lidocaine injections in both sides of my abdomen in each end of the muscle. Lidocaine is a medication used to numb tissue in a specific area. She also said she wouldn't perform surgery without my previous specialist there.
